Frederickson Cabin, East Layton, UT. This cabin was moved to its present location some time in the mid to early 20th century. By 2005, the cabin was in disrepair. The owners were interested in using it to create an outdoor room that could serve as a bedroom for guests; a suitable place to read or write; or an outdoor location for entertaining. Heritage Preservation Resources was able to salvage most of the wall logs and build a roof to provide the owners with a rustic structure that incorporated new materials for a long lasting building.
