Gee Family Home, Spring City, UT. The client bought a disassembled cabin and needed assistance to reconstruct it. The cabin was a sawn timber, dovetail notched structure that was initially seen as a stack of logs in a barn. After laying out and examining the wall logs, new sawn logs were purchased to replace those that were termite damaged. The replacement logs were notched and fitted; floors and stairs were built. Heritage Preservation Resources worked with the client, his architect and another general contractor to provide the client with a finished cabin.
