Johnson and McKenna cabins in the Van Slyke Museum. Caldwell Idaho. The repair and restoration of this ca. 1864 structure took place in 2011. Wall logs were replaced, all daubing replaced, and roof was partially re-shingled. Plans for new roofs on both cabins as well as repairs to daubing are awaiting approval by the City and Caldwell Historical Society.
This property is managed by the city of Caldwell. It was moved to this location several decades ago.
